Aquascapes Lakes provides professional consulting services for wetland or aquatic projects and installations. Whether your project is an estate, municipality, government owned land, private residence, community owned park, non-profit entity, home owner’s association, or a commercial property, Aquascapes Lakes has managed and consulted in southeastern Pennsylvania for over 30 years.
As Lake and Pond Managers, we employ an environmentally integrated approach that utilizes and often combines biological, physical and chemical methodology. We do our best to establish and maintain an attractive, native, sustainable biological aquatic community in every pond we manage. As a Biologist, we manage every living system with extreme care. Most of the systems we manage are integrated with aquatic plants. However, we are far from perfect at balancing the natural systems that we steward. Sometimes things get out of balance and we must act to re-establish equilibrium.
We also apply aquatic safe chemicals when a purely biological approach doesn’t provide the desired results. For decades, we have worked in unison with homeowners, gardeners, and estate groundkeepers to educate on the subtleties of pond management. We bill in an old-fashioned T&M style that is honest and transparent. We are licensed with the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, the Pennsylvania Dept. of Agriculture, and licensed for application of aquatic pesticides/herbicides with the state of Pennsylvania. We treat every pond and lake we manage as if it were our own.

Habitat Enhancement
Aquascapes provides design and implementation services for wildlife habitat that increases aesthetic appeal and attracts beneficial bees, insects, pollinators, birds and other fascinating wildlife. Recent environmental awareness has increased the public’s understanding of the wildlife value that wetlands and ponds offer.
Pond Management
Things happen- we’re not here to judge. We’re here to fix the core cause of issues, and to help ensure you have a healthy and thriving ecosystem. The solutions to problems are as varied as the problems themselves, and with the experience to understand not just what can be done next, but what should be done next, your water feature will be its best self in short order.
Consultation
Aquascapes Unlimited biologists and/or environmental designers are available for onsite consultations throughout the Northeastern United States. Public emphasis on conservation and sustainable design has provided an opportunity for many companies who specialize in native landscapes and natural ecosystems. Most of today’s designs within the industry are environmentally friendly and politically correct with respect to species diversity and meet local regulatory criteria, although it is not uncommon to have a disconnect between design and practicality of implementation for these native landscapes and natural ecosystems.
